Hydrogen Economy

What's a fuel cell? That's what many Americans have been asking themselves since President Bush declared his goal to lead the world in this powerful technology in a hydrogen economy.

A report from General Motors

Gasoline: the non-renewable, environmentally unfriendly, politically unstable fuel that's powered our personal transportation for over a hundred years. In the 70's we awoke to gasoline's limitations and liabilities - which brought on a rush of innovation - from electric battery powered cars, to solar designs. Today as global unrest again focus's our attention on alternative energy, automakers are investing in hydrogen-powered fuel-cell technology.
