Apollo Energy Systems Acquires Fuel Cell Plant in Germany

Apollo Energy Systems Inc. (AES, Fort Lauderdale, FL) announced the acquisition of a fuel cell plant in Cologne, Germany, called C-2T, which produces alkaline fuel cells on a large-scale basis.
Plans for production are to go into production this summer, with first shipments to customers in the US.
AES has pending orders
for $320.0 million worth of Apollo power plants, which will contain alkaline
fuel cells. A future plant will be built in Florida to supply US customers,
with production in Germany allocated for European customers.
