RICHMOND, Va.– Dominion Energy is continuing its clean energy transformation with early investments in hydrogen. This emerging clean energy source will help the company achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions and support decarbonization of other industries like transportation and manufacturing.
In addition to the hydrogen fueling stations HTEC has planned for the future, a new electrolytic hydrogen plant that is estimated to be capable of producing five megawatts will be built to support the decarbonization of the local gas grid used by British Columbia.
Temasek is forming a joint venture with Nanofilm Technologies International to spur innovation in the so-called “hydrogen economy,” which is increasingly being talked about as a greenhouse gas-free alternative to fossil fuels.
On April 16, 2021, the Government of Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with the Siemens Energy AG in Tashkent – and agreed a roadmap for future cooperation between the two entities.
