Fuel Cells Works, AFC Energy Sees Growing Impetus Behind Hydrogen Fuel Cells

Following a successful national roadshow over the past month, AFC’s Energy hydrogen-fuelled EV charger system returns to Dunsfold from Scotland this week.

Last Thursday saw over 250 people, including the Scottish Minister for Trade, Investment and Innovation, Mr. Ivan McKee, witness the operation of our charger at the Michelin-Scotland Innovation Parc (“MSIP”).  Several prospective customers traveled to Scotland especially to meet AFC Energy and witness the operation of our EV charger in real-time.

Since the launch of our H-PowerTM EV charger three months ago, AFC has seen over 500 people visit the operation of the charger, in addition to the significant number of commercial inquiries received through phone calls and emails from the UK and overseas.

AFC’s focus, however, remains on working with several inquiries from the UK to consolidate system deployment opportunities, many of which have arisen over the period of the Roadshow.

Adam Bond CEO of AFC Energy said, “I want to take this opportunity to thank our team at AFC Energy and our partners, MSP Technologies, for their often-long hours and commitment both in the office and out in the field in making the Dunsfold to Dundee Dash roadshow such a success. Whist we find ourselves at the end of this phase of our national market awareness campaign, it’s only the beginning of our mission to support the national decarbonization of the UK’s transportation network.”
