BayoTech Appoints Alistair Tees as Vice President of Engineering

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — BayoTech is pleased to announce that Alistair Tees has joined our senior management team as Vice President of Engineering. Alistair will be responsible for planning and directing BayoTech’s engineering activities and ensuring all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformity with industry established policies and aligned with BayoTech’s core values of operational excellence and world-class customer service.

Alistair brings over 35 years experience leading engineering teams in petroleum refining, petrochemicals, pipeline and municipal water industries and has a track record of successfully managing complex Engineering/Design, Procurement, Fabrication and Construction (EPFC) projects.

“This is a strategic and important hire for BayoTech”, said BayoTech Chief Operations Officer, Linh Austin. “Alistair brings a deep understanding of best practice engineering methods and an extensive background in managing complex projects. His technical expertise and leadership experience will be critical to BayoTech as the organization continues to grow”.

Alistair joins us from McDermott where he held the position of Manager of Mechanical Engineering and Senior Project Manager. Prior to McDermott, Alistair held multiple senior engineering and project management roles for leading technology and infrastructure companies within the energy sector. Alistair holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University, has two US patents, and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
