Economics Minister Aiwanger Starts the 50 Million Euros Hydrogen Filling Station Funding Program

Today the the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs started the hydrogen filling station funding program.

The aim is to set up a basic infrastructure of 100 filling stations in all parts of Bavaria as quickly as possible. 

For this purpose, Bavaria will be providing  funding of 50 million euros from 2020 to 2023. Public and non-public hydrogen filling stations for commercial vehicles, buses and logistics vehicles are supported.

“Enough has been said on the subject of hydrogen, it is now being implemented. The filling station funding program is another component in our strategy to develop hydrogen as an important energy source for the mobility and energy transition,” said Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs Hubert Aiwanger
