Guy Férez the Mayor of AUXERRE this week announced that starting from 2022, the Auxerre / Laroche Migennes train line be equipped with a hydrogen train .
The train will be manufactured by ALSTOM and aims to replace polluting diesel locomotives by this non-polluting green energy.
The line is currently not electrified which and is presently using diesel trains.
