ACO Laying the Foundation Stone for the First French Green Hydrogen Production Site

This Saturday, September 26, 2020, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest attended the laying of the foundation stone of the first French green hydrogen production site, in Bouin, Vendée, carried out by Lhyfe, SyDEV and the Pays region. de la Loire, three entities with which the ACO works for H2Ouest, a green hydrogen deployment program.

On the Toyota Mirai of the ACO, a hydrogen vehicle exhibited this Saturday, September 26, a formula appears on the rear hatch as on the sides of the vehicle: the ACO, a player in carbon-free mobility, with H2.

On the occasion of the laying of the foundation stone of the first French green hydrogen production site in Bouin by Lhyfe, Pierre Fillon, president of the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, and Ghislain Robert, events and infrastructures director, were present, bringing the involvement of the ACO in the promotion of hydrogen.

With Lhyfe, SyDEV, Vendée Energie and Le Mans Métropole, the ACO is contributing to H2Ouest, a green hydrogen deployment program, for low-carbon mobility. Available in spring 2021, this site will produce 300 kg of green hydrogen per day.

Along with H2Ouest, the ACO launched MissionH24, with GreenGT, for the introduction of hydrogen in competition and the creation of a category dedicated to “ hydrogen ” prototypes at the 2024 24 Hours of Le Mans.
