FEBUS unveiled

Pau inaugurated its hydrogen fuel cell bus Febus today.

Starting on Saturday, December 21 and Sunday, December 22 a “2 discovery trips” tickets will be offered to all users.

After three years of work, Febus went into service on December 17, 2019. The first 18-meter bus will run along its 6 km route on 100% clean hydrogen.

For this Febus launch day, IDELIS announced that for today December 17 from 3 p.m. and until the end of service, the 6 Fébus will be free for all users.

Two “Discovery Days” are also offered to the public, on December 21 and 22: IDELIS staff will accompany users at each station, where a “2 discovery trips” ticket will be offered (valid on December 21 and 22), thereby facilitating access in the city center during this festive period.

Since last September, before it was officially put into service, a period of tests and training of drivers in the specifics of driving this new vehicle has been an opportunity to see Febus circulating in the city. These tests made it possible to improve its performance and ensure compliance with safety, traffic flow, and energy performance requirements.
