Fuel Cell Energy and Proton Power Receive $2M in US DOE Funding

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) recently announced funding for projects to advance the H2@Scale concept. The focus of H2@Scale is to enable affordable and reliable large-scale hydrogen generation, transport, storage, and utilization in the United States across multiple sectors.

As part of this funding, FuelCell Energy will receive $2million in funding for its “High Efficiency Reversible Solid Oxide System” project

Proton Energy Systems, Inc. from Wallingford, CT will receive also receive $2million in funding for its projects on “A Novel Stack Approach to Enable High Round Trip” and “Efficiencies in Unitized PEM Regenerative Fuel Cells”
