Today was the first of two media days for CES where the Consumer Technology Association which is responsible for putting on CES events talks about the state of the global professional sphere, the state of technology, and gives exhibitors the ability to engage with the press in an intimate setting. On 01.05 CES will open to the general public where approximately 2,000 exhibitors will showcase their latest products to the world.
However, even on the first media day hydrogen and fuel cell organizations were eager to talk about their products. BeFC, Maca Flight, and NepTech were in attendance at CES Unveiled and ready to talk about how they are going to be making a positive impact on the global economy.
Dr. Martin Thuo from BeFC proudly showed off to your correspondent the CES 2022 award it won in the category of “Sustainability, Eco-Design, and Smart Energy,” which is a fitting prize considering the approach it is taking to micro-fuel cell design.
Later on in the week Hyundai Mobis, Doosan, and others will also be showcasing their fuel cell products as well. (Stay tuned as Fuel Cell Works will be doing interviews with hydrogen and fuel cell companies and getting the inside scoop on new products and approaches to fuel cell design!)
Alongside hydrogen and fuel cell organizations were other companies that are trying to make a positive impact on the world as well. Good old Bob was on display from Daan Technologies which is a dishwasher (pictured below) that tries to make washing dishes easier where living space is at a premium whether it be an apartment in Tokyo or someone living the RV life.
Another company that was started as a way for a dad to be able to get insights into his son’s mental health is I’mbesideyou Inc. The company uses AI to assess the emotions a person’s face displays, and the company is hoping to use it to help other firms make some tasks more efficient like selling or human resource departments understanding the mental health of employees.
Despite the news stories other media organizations like to portray, CES 2022 is very much alive and well to the point where the first media event had a large number of people standing along the sides of the conference room.
Stay tuned for more updates since Fuel Cells Works is the only source for the latest news and thought leader insights on the hydrogen and fuel cell industry whether at CES 2022 or anywhere else globally.
