Hydrogen Germany

ESWE Verkehr wants an alternative to diesel and is planning for it by using both electricity and hydrogen as the alternative.

ESWE Verkehr plans on using both electric vehicles and hydrogen fuel cell buses to achieve its goal of zero emissions, but in order for the first fuel cell buses can enter the depot of  ESWE Verkehrsgesellschaft , there needs to be important steps taken. For example, ESWE Verkehr’s yard in Gartenfeldstraße will need to build a hydrogen refueling station that will be needed to run fuel cell buses.

Also, the charging infrastructure for the battery electric buses will need to be installed. Space is at a premium and thus the city of  Wiesbaden of the transport company parts of P + R parking Salzbachaue will make the main station available.

The ESWE Verkehrsgesellschaft or ESWE Verkehr is a municipally owned company responsible for public transport in Wiesbaden, Germany. It operates 40 bus lines and 9 night bus lines. The company is a member of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund
