Green Hydrogen: Morbihan Energies Hydrogen Station Awarded at Cop 24

The hydrogen station of Morbihan Energies has just secured a second place in the international list of sustainable solutions for the building and the city. The award was present on December 7, 2018, on the occasion of the meeting of  the Cop 24 in Katowice, Poland.

Nine energy transition project categories were selected for the Green Solution Awards 2018 by the Construction 21 network, the European platform for building specialists.

The hydrogen station was competing for the “grand prize for sustainable infrastructure”. After passing the initial stage of the national selections in September, the station reached the top of the international ranking behind the city of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Commissioned in 2017, the hydrogen recharging station was installed on the administrative site of Morbihan Energies facility in Vannes-Luscanen, it produces and stores renewable hydrogen from photovoltaic panels.
