Seville, ES–This past November 16th, H2B2 Electrolysis Technologies carried out successfully, the start-up of a PEM electrolyser to produce a high purity hydrogen at CEPSA´s facilities located in Alcala de Henares (Madrid). Since this date (16th November 2018) the system is running 24/7.

Electro CepsaAble to operate at fully automatic mode, this system will be running at CEPSA’s facilities in Alcala de Henares (Madrid, Spain), producing 800 kilograms of hydrogen a year.

This electrolyser, manufactured in Seville (Spain), involved a polymeric membrane system (stack), capable of producing 99.999% pure hydrogen, at 20 bar supply pressure. The stack has been developed by Giner ELX, company participated by H2B2, with headquarters in Newton (Massachussets, USA).
