HyGear, A supplier of Industrial Gases Through On-Site Generation Technology has Completed the Construction and Delivery of a Hydrogen Compressor Station to the City of Riga in Latvia
This supply contract was signed last December with Hydrogenis, an energy and electromobility industry company, to supply hydrogen to the end customer in Riga, Latvia for a hydrogen filling facility for fueling buses.
Part of the contract was including a hydrogen compressor station that is used to increase the output pressure from the Hy.GEN system.
The compressor station consists of a dual street compression line and all necessary peripherals for post treatment of compressed gases including cooling and drying. The system is built on a forty feet container skid that form the signature of HyGear products in the market.
Coupled with the compressor station are three units of Hy.GEN 50 which is an on-site gas generation system that produces hydrogen by converting natural gas with steam methane reforming.
HYGEAR, A SPECIALIST IN GAS SUPPLY THROUGH ON-SITE GENERATION MADE ITS GRAND ENTRANCE INTO ITS NEW PREMISES. AN OPENING CEREMONY WAS HELD ON THE 4TH OF OCTOBER 2017 TO MARK THE COMPLETION OF ITS NEW AND LARGER HOME IN ARNHEM, THE NETHERLANDS AS WELL AS THE CELEBRATION OF ITS 15TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY.
HyGear had the honour of the Mayor of Arnhem city, Mr Ahmed Marcouch to inaugurate the premises with the CEO of HyGear, Marinus van Driel. There were more than 120 people attending the ceremony including business partners and associates, shareholders, and officials from the local government.
Marinus van Driel expressed the company’s expectations for its new premises, “As HyGear continues its growth globally, it has become obvious that space in the old premises was a restriction for us. With this new and larger facility, we will be able to continue catering to the rapid expansion of the business.”
The new premise comprises of offices, test sites, construction and assembly areas, and a hydrogen filling facility to supply HyGear’s bulk customers in the region as well as trailers and cylinders for other industrial gas suppliers. The filling facility will also function as a hydrogen station for cars and buses.
Providing an alternative solution for end-users of industrial hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen gases, HyGear developed cutting-edge technologies of on-site gas generation. With the combination of these systems and conventional gas distribution methods, we offer the most cost-effective and reliable supply method with a guarantee of 100% up-time.
