The hydrogen filling station of the National Assembly is scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2019, and it will take about six months from licensing to final completion.

It takes 8 ~ 10 months to build a hydrogen filling station. However, the National Assembly hydrogen filling station was approved by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy in February 2019, and since the National Assembly, the government and related organizations actively cooperate in installation, The period is shortened.

Hopefully the communication and the will to solve the pending issues presented by the National Assembly and the government in the process of constructing the hydrogen filling station of the National Assembly will be a good example of industry innovation through the dissolution of various regulations in the future.

The hydrogen filling station of the National Assembly will be built at a total area of 1236.3㎡ on the side of the National Assembly building, which is accessible from the main gate of the National Assembly. It will have a capacity of 25 kg / h, which can refuel 5 or more hydrogen electric vehicles per hour.

The hydrogen fueling station of the National Assembly is operated by a special purpose corporation Hydrogen energy Network (Hynet), a company specialized in the construction and operation of a hydrogen filling station, in which Hyundai Motor is participating as the second largest shareholder.

Hyundai Motors is planning to build a hydrogen filling station at the GS Caltex Sangil station in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. Prior to this, the government decided to build a city-based hydrogen filling station at Sangsang-gu Dae-do Energy in Busan and SK Gas Nonhyun charging station in Namdong-gu, Incheon.

In addition, Hyundai Motor has opened a highway hydrogen filling station in Yeongdong Expressway Yeosu Expressway (Gangneung Expressway) in Gyeongbu Expressway in April and Hyungjoo Expressway Hanam Resthouse in Gyeongbu Expressway We plan to open an additional hydrogen filling station at the Namhae Expressway Haman Rest Area (Hanaan, Gyeongnam).
