Torpa Bilruter has ordered three emission-free Nikola Tre trucks to join its fleet of heavy duty trucks.
Torpa Bilruter is the largest tank carrier for TINE in Eastern Norway and its largest customers are ASKO, TINE, NLP and Schenker.
Chairman Ketil Lundgaard said “Our customers demand environmentally friendly transport, and our company wants to start building its own emission free transport fleet”

The Nikola Tre has 500 to 1,000 HP, 6×4 or 6×2 configurations and a range of 500 to 1,200 kilometers depending on options. The Tre will fit within the current size and length restrictions for Europe.
European testing is projected to begin in Norway around 2020. Nikola is also in the preliminary planning stages to identify the proper location for its European manufacturing facility.
