TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (MOL), MOL Drybulk, Ltd., and Japan Engine Corporation (J-ENG) today announced the signing of a basic agreement to cooperate in a trial of hydrogen-fueled engine equipped on an in-service vessel.

The automotive and industrial supplier Schaeffler has entered into an agreement with Swedish start-up company H2greensteel to purchase 100,000 tons of the virtually CO2-free steel, which is produced using hydrogen, on an annual basis with effect from 2025.
The group will now also test this 27-tonne truck for a month in France. This truck was developed by the VDL Groep in Eindhoven, and the test is part of the European Interreg North-West Europe H2-Share demonstration project.
