LOUGHBOROUGH, England — A consortium led by zero-emission solutions provider Unitrove, which created the world’s first liquid hydrogen bunkering facility, has won thousands of pounds of government funding to explore the development of an innovative zero-emission multi-fuel station (ZEMFS) that would power hydrogen and electric ships.

Fortescue Metals Group Ltd (Fortescue, ASX: FMG) advises that Fortescue Future Industries (FFI) has entered a global strategic collaboration with energy infrastructure developer Tree Energy Solutions (TES) which aims to accelerate the development of a world leading green hydrogen and green energy import facility in Germany. The investment of €130 million (US$127 million) will be funded by FFI’s unutilised capital commitment and provides FFI with a pathway for access to critical infrastructure to execute its strategy.

Stuttgart: As part of the “FullStack TS fuel cell test bench” funding project, a new generation of test benches is being developed that covers full stacks of fuel cells up to 200 kW and uses high-quality electrochemical measurement methods. In this project, SMART TESTSOLUTIONS is responsible for cell voltage monitoring including contacting of the individual cells. In addition, it is planned to develop a multi-channel impedance spectroscopy measuring device.
