The Düsseldorf-based technology group Rheinmetall has won a fifth order for  supplying fuel cell components, this time from a European customer in the  industrial sector. The aggregated value of this order for cathode and shut-off  valves for industrial applications is in the lower two-digit million-euro range. Including this order, booked at the end of June 2022, total order volume for  cathode flaps is now approaching the three-digit million-euro mark.

Trieste – In the context of the announcement for six options dated March 2018, Fincantieri and Viking have put into effect the contracts for the third and fourth ships. The companies also have signed the contract for the fifth and sixth units, subject to access to financing as per industry practice. The total value of the agreements is about euro 1.7 billion.

Governor Kathy Hochul today announced $16.6 million in awards for five long duration energy storage projects that will help harness renewable energy and provide stored energy to New York’s electric grid. Governor Hochul also announced an additional $17 million in competitive funding available for projects that advance development and demonstration of scalable innovative long duration energy storage technologies, including hydrogen. The projects will support the current Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act goal to install 3,000 megawatts of energy storage by 2030 while facilitating further development to 6,000 megawatts.
