Philadelphia Eagles and PDC Machines Celebrate Launch of SimpleFuel™ Hydrogen Refueler at Lincoln Financial Field

In a landmark event for sustainability and green energy, the Philadelphia Eagles teamed up with PDC Machines to unveil a state-of-the-art SimpleFuel™ hydrogen refueler at Lincoln Financial Field. This grand occasion saw the refueler being commissioned, a promising leap towards ensuring 100% renewable energy for all event operations within the stadium. This new addition will cater to Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles and a range of material handling vehicles.

The event, symbolizing the commitment of both the Philadelphia Eagles and PDC Machines to their shared “Go Green” vision, was a testament to the power of collaboration in advancing sustainability and innovation. Attendants from diverse backgrounds, spanning the energy sector to local policy-making, gathered to witness the ribbon-cutting and see the groundbreaking unit in action.

unnamedAdding prestige to the occasion, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro stood alongside key figures such as Philadelphia Eagles President, Don Smolenski, PDC Machines’ Executive Chairman, Kareem Afzal, and CEO, Marco Caccavale. The ribbon was ceremoniously cut, marking the station’s operational status. Among those present were PDC’s founder, Syed Afzal, VP After Market Sales, Bree McQuillan, PA State Senator Sharif Street, and Philadelphia City Councilmember Kenyatta Johnson.
