fuelcellsworks, Peel Nre Announced Plans For Waste Plastic To Hydrogen Facility In Scotland
  • Plagazi announces “Project Merida” and the order for a Pre-Study focused on how its patented Plagazi Process can recycle plastic waste into pure green hydrogen.

The end-customer, who asked to remain anonymous for now, is one of the world’s leading and largest plastic packaging companies. The Pre-Study is set to be delivered under Q4 2021 and will lay the foundation for commencing the project to construct a Plagazi Process plant.

The aim of a Pre-Study is for the client to understand the general feasibility of implementing a Plagazi Process plant within the client’s desired framework and requirements.

If the client finds the construction and implementation of a Plagazi plant feasible after receiving the Pre-Study report, the work will serve as a foundation for the Basic Engineering Study stage, which is a more in-depth study focused on the specifics of the customer’s waste and further project details, including testing, full process details, environmental permission process and extensive financial analysis.

Once the customer is satisfied with both the Pre-Study and Basic Engineering Study, the project will continue into the plant project phase, including engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), which starts with the plant design via a Pre-Detailed Engineering/FEED.
