  • Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH establishes “Pure Power Pool” consortium with UMSTRO GmbH and Klaus Ostermeier GmbH for delivery from a single source

Puchheim — The innovative technology leader in emission-free fuel cells “Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH” from Puchheim near Munich has launched the construction of the new “Pure Power Pool” consortium with a letter of intent.

As the Bavarian company explained now, together with the partners “UMSTRO GmbH”  and “Klaus Ostermeier GmbH” common goals for the realization of project goals were defined. The aim is to optimally set the course in order to professionally cover the increasing demand on the part of the industry for hydrogen fuel cells.

The consortium’s cooperation agreement will provide fuel cell systems, including all components and services, from a single source, something that is unique in the industry to date.

“With our new consortium, we are successfully positioned to locate the value chain for the production of our quality fuel cells significantly in Germany, tailor-made and dynamically finalize customer-specific order volumes,” said Proton Motor Marketing Director Manfred Limbrunner in the context. His company sees in the production of fuel cells in the business location of Germany a quasi-political task such as responsibility in order to effectively support the topic of the German “climate offensive” and the global climate crisis with this sustainable measure.

“All-inclusive package” – according to UMSTRO GmbH, which is based in Euskirchen and develops mobile and stationary energy cells, will act as main contact partner and general contractor in the planned fuel cell and electrolysis projects. In addition, it was agreed that Klaus Ostermeier GmbH (Schweitenkirchen), which focuses on the integration of PEM electrolysis stacks into modular electrolysis kits, together with Proton Motor will provide support and conceptual support for customer advice. Proton Motor and Klaus Ostermeier GmbH are to provide relevant information and components so that UMSTRO GmbH can offer complete solutions in its project management function. Required components from customer requirements that are not available from the consortium, such as
