- Pure Hydrogen has signed a Master Supply Agreement (distribution) with BLK Auto Pty Limited.
- The Agreement will allow Pure Hydrogen to re-sell an expanded range of hydrogen fueled trucks, buses and storage pods to customers in Asia Pacific, India and Africa.
Sydney: Australian Clean Energy Company Pure Hydrogen Corporation Limited (ASX: PH2 or ‘Pure Hydrogen’) is pleased to advise that it has signed a Master Supply Agreement (MSA) with BLK Auto Pty Ltd (BLK).
Headquartered in Queensland, BLK is a leading importer, distributor & manufacturer of commercial vehicles in Australia & New Zealand, where it’s established a leading position in the supply of hydrogen and electric vehicles.
Under the terms of the MSA, BLK will allow Pure Hydrogen to re-sell and distribute trucks, buses and storage pods to customers in Asia Pacific, India and Africa. The agreement is for a term of 10 years with an exclusivity period of one year, which commences from the delivery of the first Hydrogen Fuel Cell Prime Mover for trial by Pepsico (see Announcement dated 30 September 2022 concerning a trial of a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Prime Mover for Pepsico) expected to start in 2nd Quarter of Calendar Year 2023.
The MSA aligns with Pure Hydrogen’s strategy to establish itself as a leading supplier of hydrogen fuelled trucks, buses, generators, and storage pods to customers, together with a supplier of hydrogen fuel – a broad market footprint..
Under the terms of the MSA there are a number of Condition Precedents including formal benchmarks for BLK demonstrating to Pure Hydrogen that BLK has arrangements in place to ensure that the vehicles, generators and hydrogen pods will satisfy all applicable laws. In addition, where the first of each truck, bus, generator, 6×4 Prime Mover, 6×4 Waste Truck and Hydrogen Pod supplied by BLK will be subject to testing by Pure Hydrogen to meet agreed quality standards.

The price of the hydrogen fuel cell trucks and buses will vary considerably depending on the configurations required by the end customer. It is expected that Pure Hydrogen would work out the configuration with the customer to meet the customers use case before seeking a price of BLK. Pure Hydrogen’s first order for the trial Hydrogen Fuel Cell Prime Mover with PepsiCo will have an estimated net cost of about $410,0001 to Pure Hydrogen.
