Resato Developing cooling unit

The three northern provinces (Drenthe, Groningen, Friesland) and the municipalities of Assen, Emmen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are united in the North Netherlands Partnership. The association will use subsidies for innovations in SMEs and the low-carbon economy up until 2020. Resato has been awarded a subsidy from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for the development of an integrated cooling unit for hydrogen filling stations.

The subsidy will initially be used to develop a prototype of the company’s own integrated smart cooling unit for hydrogen filling stations. The cooling unit makes it possible to fill an FCEV car with a lower energy consumption that is currently offered worldwide. In this way, Resato is responding to the future hydrogen economy.
