In its recent announcement, Cheonan City announced that it will supply 50 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to the private sector to reduce fine dust and reduce greenhouse gases. The city government said will subsidize 3,250 million won per vehicle.

Citizens who want the hydrogen fuel cell car subsidies can simply visit a Hyundai dealership and fill out an application form and the required documents. Starting from August 12, each dealership will submit documents to Cheonan City and the application is completed

Lee Ki-hyuk, Director of Environment Policy Division, Cheonan City, said, “We are planning to expand the supply of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles annually. Unlike internal combustion engine cars, hydrogen fuel cell cars do not have harmful emissions and thus do not pollute our environment”
