As part of its roll out of the new hydrogen fuel cell powered Mirai, Toyota Motor also plans to increase the production capacity of fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) to 30,000 units a year, which is 10 times the current production capacity.Â
According to Toyota, the production capacity of fuel cells, which are the main power source of vehicles such as the Mirai will be increased 10 times from the current level to prepare a mass production system for FCVs including commercial vehicles such as buses.
