
On October 4, the United States House of Representatives introduced House Resolution 615, expressing support for the designation of October 8, 2019 as National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day for the United States. This is the second year in a row that legislation supporting National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Day has been introduced in the House.

As a reminder, the date of October 8 (10/08) was chosen in recognition of the atomic weight of hydrogen (1.008). This day provides a platform to raise broader awareness of fuel cell and hydrogen energy technologies.
