Vysus Group Appoints Industry Stalwart to Help Unlock the Potential of Hydrogen Energy

Vysus Group has appointed Kees van Wingerden in a leading role to support operators and developers in designing safe facilities, with particular emphasis on the hydrogen market.

Most recently chief technology officer with a leading safety and risk management company, and with 44 years of industry experience across Europe, Kees’ appointment as senior principal consultant, will be a valuable addition to the Vysus Group team. His specialist expertise in hazard analysis combined with strong communication skills, will help boost Vysus Group’s capabilities within the hydrogen energy sector.

Kees van Wingerden 01With a PhD from the University of Bergen and an MSc from Delft University of Technology, Kees has worked in a variety of roles including R&D, consultancy, project and company management, and sales. In addition, as testament to his proficiency in risk management, he was the recipient of a European Process Safety Centre’s EPSC Award in 2019.

His appointment is part of Vysus Group’s continuing focus on the growing hydrogen market, which has seen increased exposure in light of global climate concerns and a growing energy transition.
