Good news from CGN's three green hydrogen projects

On September 23, CGN New Energy's Liaoning Chaoyang Kazuo wind power hydrogen production alcohol integrated project and Shenyang Hunnan District 1200MW onshore wind power project wind tower complete equipment and installation inquiry. Prior to this, CGN New Energy's Liaoning Dalian Changxing Island 1000MW new energy hydrogen production project had entered the bidding stage. On September 25, Jiangxi Jiujiang CGN's wind hydrogen alcohol integrated demonstration project was registered, mainly including wind resources and power transmission, water electrolysis hydrogen production and storage, and biomass gasification to produce methanol.

China Railway Construction Wins 6.13 Billion Yuan Hydrogen Energy Project in Sichuan

China Railway 19th Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and China Railway First Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd. have secured a 6.13 billion yuan ($840 million) contract for a hydrogen energy full industrial chain project in Dechang County, Sichuan. This major project aims to develop three factory lines to support hydrogen energy production and application, marking a significant breakthrough for China Railway Construction in the hydrogen energy sector.

The project includes the construction of a lithium titanate negative electrode material production line, a battery production line, and a hydrogen-to-electricity conversion equipment industrial base. Once completed, it will boost the local new energy industry, optimize the energy structure, and improve environmental quality. The success of this project demonstrates China Railway Construction’s capabilities and sets the stage for future hydrogen energy initiatives in the region.

Zhongke Hydrogen Easy Secures Tens of Millions in Pre-A Round Financing for Hydrogen Production Technology

Ningbo Zhongke Hydrogen Easy Membrane Technology Co., Ltd. recently raised tens of millions of yuan in a Pre-A round of financing, led by the Zhenhai Huizhi Angel Fund. The round saw participation from key investors, including the State Power Investment Corporation, Zhenhai Yongjiang Science and Technology Innovation Fund, Taihydrogen Morning, and Sunshine Hydrogen Energy. This marks Zhongke Hydrogen Easy's fourth successful financing round, bringing its total funding to over 100 million yuan.

Founded in 2022, Zhongke Hydrogen Easy specializes in the development of hydrogen production diaphragms, focusing on cost-efficient water electrolysis methods. Led by Dr. He Qingyi, the company is advancing polymer membrane technologies and holds over 30 patents. With applications in hydrogen production and flow battery markets, the company collaborates with domestic and international partners, aiming to strengthen China’s independent hydrogen energy supply chain and contribute to the country’s green and low-carbon development goals.
