Bharat Heavy Electricals Partners With Greenstat Hydrogen India to Boost Green Hydrogen Initiatives e1691412420568

In a recent move that solidifies India’s commitment to renewable energy and sustainable solutions, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has teamed up with Greenstat Hydrogen India Pvt. Ltd. The two organizations have officially entered into a partnership, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering the development of green hydrogen projects across India.

The MoU was endorsed by S Prabhakar, GM & Head (Coal to Chemicals) of BHEL, and Sturle Harald Pedersen, Chairman of Greenstat Hydrogen India Pvt. Ltd. in a ceremony graced by significant stakeholders. Notable attendees included Upinder Singh Matharu, Director (Power) of BHEL, Jai Prakash Srivastava, Director (ER&D) and Director (Finance) – Additional Charge of BHEL, and Jeewan Prakash Gupta, MD of Greenstat Hydrogen India Pvt. Ltd., among other senior BHEL representatives.

BHEL’s collaboration with Greenstat Hydrogen India is anchored in the joint vision of both entities to establish a comprehensive cooperation framework. This partnership seeks to delve deep into ventures surrounding the production, marketing, and application of green hydrogen. BHEL’s expansive know-how in manufacturing and renewable energy will be merged with Greenstat’s extensive proficiency in hydrogen technology, presenting a formidable alliance in the renewable sector.

Green hydrogen stands out as an eco-friendly substitute to traditional fossil fuels. Derived using renewable energy sources, it offers a greener alternative to conventional fossil fuels. It holds promise in diverse sectors including transport, industrial processes, and power generation, heralding a new era of reduced carbon emissions and increased sustainability.

The endorsement of this MoU symbolizes the unwavering resolve of both BHEL and Greenstat Hydrogen India to champion the evolution and integration of green hydrogen within the Indian landscape.
