Clean hydrogen can reduce the climate impact of industries
EPFL engineers are taking part in PROMETEO – an EU research project to generate hydrogen on a large scale from renewable sources, in an effort to lower industrial carbon emissions.
NASA-Awarded Air-Cooled Hydrogen Fuel Cell System Will Achieve Up to 2,000 Watts Per Kilogram of Specific Power and Up to 1,500 Watt-Hours Per Kilogram of Energy Density; Full-Scale Versions Will Begin Shipping to Aviation and eVTOL Customers in 2022
At the start of the “Decade of Hydrogen” proclaimed by the Hydrogen Council at the beginning of 2020, the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) at the TU Dresden is making a significant input into making road traffic emission-free in the long term through its participation in the BRYSON project (BauRaumeffiziente HYdrogenSpeicher Optimierter Nutzbarkeit) funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy.
Emden / Leer–Around 90 participants, in particular from the maritime and energy sectors, accepted the invitation to the online closing event of the innovation project “WASh2Emden – innovative and environmentally friendly hydrogen applications in the seaport Emden”.Â
San Donato Milanese, Trieste– The CEOs of Eni and Fincantieri, Claudio Descalzi and Giuseppe Bono, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which extends the cooperation in Research & Development sector, set out by the two Italian companies in 2017, which now approaches new technological frontiers.Â
