Plug Power Inc and South Korea’s SK E&S, a member of the SK Group, have announced a joint investment of KRW 1 trillion ($746 million/€678.3 million) to construct a hydrogen gigafactory and research facility in South Korea. The announcement was made during the ‘Korea-US Advanced Industry and Clean Energy Partnership’ event held by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy on April 25.

BURLINGTON, Ontario & LONG BEACH, Calif.Anaergia Inc. (“Anaergia” or the “Company”)  announced today that its subsidiary SoCal Biomethane, LLC, (“SoCal Biomethane”) will supply renewable natural gas as facilitated by renewable fuels marketer Anew Climate (“Anew”) to FuelCell Energy’s Tri-gen system to produce carbon-negative hydrogen and electricity for Toyota Motor North America, Inc.’s (TMNA) Logistics Services Center at the Port of Long Beach in California. The facility is Toyota’s largest port operation handling import/exports for North America and processes about 200,000 vehicles per year.
