Alpha H2 Secures Deal to Distribute On Demand Hydrogen Kits Across Africa
Alpha H2 has secured a deal with an African distributor that will deliver its on demand hydrogen kits across Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania, Rwanda and Ghana.

Initial volumes are at $10m in order interest from the region for the first year, which is expected to increase to $15m in year two.

Distribution in the region will be led by Perth-based Afrilink Pty Limited, which specialises in seamless strategic solutions for the expansion of companies into the African Market made up of 1.3 billion consumers.

Alpha H2 sees significant demand for its technology in this region, as it uses water to produce hydrogen on board the vehicle which is injected into an internal combustion engine (ICE) to improve combustion efficiency, delivering reduced fuel usage and carbon emissions.

Given there are 26 million vehicles across Africa, the Company says there is a significant addressable market for this technology.

Afrilink will leverage its network across Africa’s large resources sector, which contains 30% of the world’s mineral reserves, 8% of the world’s natural gas, 12 per cent of the world’s oil reserves, 40% of the world’s gold and up to 80% of its Cobalt and Tantalum.

Alpha believes hydrogen injection kits will play a key role in this market — particularly for commercial fleet owners — as it provides an immediately available solution to their fuel cost challenges and the increasing demand to reduce emissions.

The Company also recently completed third-party testing, which aligned with previous tests undertaken and reinforced the efficacy of the technology available.

Test Results:

20% reduction in fuel usage.

13% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.

16% reduction in hydrocarbon emissions.

Since launching in October 2023, Alpha H2 has received US$50m-plus in order interest from transport, mining and construction operators across Australia, Africa, the Middle East, the Americas, and Europe.
