• Bundeswehr buys EMILY 2200 fuel cell systems and SFC Power Managers; total order amount: approx. EUR 1.25 million.
• The order represents repeat business for SFC Energy following the approval and successful deployment of the fuel cell by Bundeswehr in December 2011.

Brunnthal/Munich, Germany, December 10, 2018— SFC Energy AG (F3C:DE, ISIN: DE0007568578), a leading provider of hybrid power solutions to the stationary and mobile power generation markets, announces receipt of another follow-up order of the Bundeswehr’s Federal Office for Equipment, Information Technologies and Usage (BAAINBw). The Office ordered EMILY fuel cells for supplying off-grid power to devices on board of vehicles, as well as SFC Power Managers and accessories. The order has a total volume of approx. EUR 1.25 million.

• THE BLUEGEN BG-15 REDEFINES THE POWER SUPPLY

Under the motto POWEREVOLUTION, the solemn product launch of the new micro-CHP BlueGEN BG-15 from manufacturer SOLIDpower took place on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Heinsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia. The highly efficient fuel cell-based power generator converts natural gas into electricity in an electrochemical process. CEO Alberto Ravagni praised the new BlueGEN BG-15 as a “trend-setting innovation of de-centralized micro-CHPs”.

In a recent announcement SNCF committed to bringing the regions in France together to prepare for the putting into circulation of the first TER hydrogen train by 2022. Frank LACROIX, General Manager TER and Pierre Izard, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Rail Systems and Technologies, reaffirmed SNCF’s commitment to a rapid deployment of the use of hydrogen.

SÖDERTÄLJE, Sweden–Scania is developing a fuel cell refuse truck together with Renova, a waste handling company in western Sweden. The truck will feature a fully electrified powertrain as well an electrified compactor.

KUCHING (Bernama) — Sarawak Energy Bhd and Shell MDS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on working together to assess potential opportunities in lower-cost hydrogen production technology via electrolysis.

The first two hydrogen refueling points will be in service in Gdańsk and Warsaw at the end of 2021. Both sites together with the installation for the purification and distribution of hydrogen form the Pure H2 project , will be 20% paid from EU funds. The contract for financing the investment worth 10 million euros will be signed during the COP24 Climate Summit in Katowice.
