In the project ‘Autostack Industrie’, five OEMs and various suppliers are working together in order to bring the key technologies in the manufacture of stacks – the core components of fuel cell vehicles – to industrialization stage.

The focus of the project, which runs until the end of 2021, is to prepare the appropriate high-speed processes. The challenges are considerable, but the initial results are positive.

Each month the California Fuel Cell Partnership publishes the latest statistics on how many fuel cell cars have been sold and leased, how many fuel cell buses are on the road, and how many hydrogen stations are open in California.

In these new May numbers, there was an increase of 24 hydrogen fuel cell cars sold/leased in the U.S.A.
