SEOUL / LONDON – Hyundai Motor Company and INEOS announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to explore new opportunities to accelerate the global hydrogen economy.

Trieste– The keel-laying ceremony of ZEUS – Zero Emission Ultimate Ship, an experimental fuel cell-powered marine vessel, was held at Fincantieri shipyard in Castellammare di Stabia. The vessel, first of its kind in the world, is to be delivered in 2021.

Storengy, ENGIE’s subsidiary specialising in gas storage and the development of renewable gases, and GazelEnergie, electricity producer and natural gas and power supplier, have signed a partnership agreement to develop a hydrogen territory in the Saint-Avold Agglomeration Community, based on the site of the Emile Huchet coal-power station which is to be restructured after the State decision to shut down all coal-fired power stations in France.

Since the European Union launched the “European Clean Hydrogen Alliance” last July, the hydrogen internal combustion engine has been increasingly in the spotlight in the mobility industry debate on zero-emission drive solutions.
