Hydrogen refuelling business Element 2 has agreed a Letter of Intent with Riversimple, the hydrogen-powered car manufacturer, to purchase and take over operation of its hydrogen refuelling station in Abergavenny, Wales.

Responding to the publication today of the Energy Security Bill, RenewableUK’s Deputy Chief Executive Melanie Onn said:

Getech, a geoenergy and green hydrogen company, has secured $2.15 million of new contracts. These include geoscience data sales and product renewals and extensions for the Group’s ground-breaking Globe knowledge base, which models the earth’s evolution over the last 400 million years.

Grenoble – HRS, a leading European designer and manufacturer of hydrogen refueling stations, has received an order for five new 1,000 kg/day stations from Hype, in accordance with the strategic partnership signed in December 2021. The stations will join the Hype general public network in which an initial series of seven stations will be commissioned in Île de France in late 2022/early 2023. The first station in Issy-les-Moulineaux will become operational in October 2022.

The electrolyser producer Enapter has set itself the goal of developing its entire production process to run without negative impacts on the environment.

The Jupiter 1000 program operates a “power to gas” system on its Fos-sur-Mer site which uses surplus renewable electricity to transform it into hydrogen and synthetic methane.

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) is entering into a partnership with the data solutions provider TYCHO Solutions to enhance transparency in the hydrogen markets. Both parties will bring in their respective expertise to provide hydrogen-related data on the EEX Transparency Platform, by using TYCHO’s business intelligence tool NOVA.
