National alliance commits to nurturing development of hydrogen-centric ecosystem

India has announced a new incentive plan worth 174.9 billion rupees, or approximately $2.11 billion, in an effort to promote the use of green hydrogen. This move is part of India’s efforts to reduce emissions and become a major exporter in the green hydrogen market. Green hydrogen is a form of hydrogen that is produced through renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind power, rather than fossil fuels. It is considered to be a clean and sustainable energy source, as it does not produce any greenhouse gases when it is used.

The Egyptian government has made a significant commitment to the development of green hydrogen and renewable energy in the country. At a meeting held in the New Administrative Capital, the Cabinet authorized the allocation of 141,075 feddans of state-owned land in the Matrouh Governorate for renewable energy projects. This land will be made available to investors through the usufruct scheme, which is administered by the New and Renewable Energy Authority (NREA).

NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India is planning a $2 billion incentive programme for the green hydrogen industry, three sources told Reuters, in a bid to cut emissions and become a major export player in the field.

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC), Saudi Arabia announced in a statement that signing took place between its EPC contractor & system integrator Air Products, (and joint venture partner) and sub-EPC construction partner, Larsen & Toubro(L&T).
