As part of Industrial Visits, a group of Officers from the College of Defence Management, Secunderabad – a premier Tri Services Defence Service Training Institution for developing strategic future military leaders – visited FC TecNrgy, Gurgaon on 11 Dec 2023.
The visit included briefing them on Fuel Cell Technologies, the advantages that Fuel Cells and Fuel Cell-based Sustainable Energy Solutions offer over those currently in use in the Armed Forces, and their broad applicability – further enabling the Forces’ 24×7 readiness and mission endurance. Officers were also shown the Indigenous, Customised & Scalable Solutions developed for the Armed Forces, and which are in use. They also visited the joint production centre of FCT and SFC Energy AG India.
The highly interactive visit deepened our mutual understanding – of their experiences, challenges, requirements – and our solutions more so since the Indian Armed Forces are also in the process of moving towards sustainable energy solutions and a systematic phasing of Fossil Fuels.
