Fuel Cells Works, Halliburton Labs Accelerates Clean Energy Innovation With Hydrogen-Focused FuelX and Other Startups

Halliburton Labs welcomes FuelX, LiNa Energy, and Solaires Entreprises to its clean energy technology accelerator, providing them with a collaborative environment that includes industrial capabilities, technical expertise, and global networking connections to scale their businesses.

This initiative aligns with Halliburton Labs’ mission to foster clean energy innovation and assist early-stage companies in achieving commercialization milestones, with supportive resources that expand customer and investor prospects to enable growth.

FuelX, a standout among the new participants, focuses on manufacturing hydrogen storage materials and fuel cell power systems to expedite the decarbonization of “things that move.” Utilizing alane solid-state hydrogen fuel, the company’s systems deliver more energy per weight than lithium-ion batteries and greater hydrogen per volume than conventional hydrogen systems. This makes it possible to electrify the most demanding mobility applications. Participation in the Halliburton Labs program is set to accelerate FuelX’s ability to scale and meet existing military and commercial project milestones, as stated by Greg Jarvie, co-founder and CEO of FuelX.

LiNa Energy, another startup, concentrates on developing and supplying low-cost, solid-state sodium batteries for the renewable energy storage market. Meanwhile, Solaires Entreprises is focused on developing next-generation solar cells that are lightweight, flexible, efficient, and transparent, thus improving energy conversion and enabling a broader range of innovative solar energy applications.
