Hyundai CE plans to release its second-generation power platform in 2023, and by 2026, it will have built up its portfolio of micropower excavators. A large-scale production of the 14-ton hydrogen wheel excavator will commence in 2026, which will be developed before competitors worldwide.

In November 2021, Hyundai Doosan Infracore announced it would go carbon neutral for all of its workplaces, marking the first time a Korean construction equipment firm has taken such a step.
