Matthias von der malsburg joins the wiesbaden-based green hydrogen pioneer hy2gen as head of sales and project development da-ch

Wiesbaden, November 01, 2022 – Hy2gen, the global project developer of plants for the production of green hydrogen and hydrogen-based e-fuels, can now count on a competent newcomer: Matthias von der Malsburg is now in charge of sales and project development for the DA-CH region. Von der Malsburg, who can look back on a 25-year career in energy plant construction in various management positions, will actively support Hy2gen in becoming the market leader in the production of green hydrogen and hydrogen-based e-fuels.
After working for ABB Kraftwerke Service GmbH for a long time, Matthias von der Malsburg worked for the French, listed group Alstom SA from 2003 to 2015, where he most recently held the position of Sales Representative in the Renewable Energy division. After almost three years at GE Wind Energy GmbH as Head of Sales Onshore Wind Services Germany, the Frankfurter accompanied the energy transition in Hesse from 2019 to the end as head of the energy topic at LandesEnergieAgentur Hessen GmbH (LEA). Von der Malsburg’s main focus there was on setting up the Hydrogen Office, the central point of contact for the State of Hesse on the subject of hydrogen and fuel cells.
