Oman has launched its first dual-fuel hydrogen-diesel combustion truck, marking a significant step towards cleaner transport solutions.
The truck, which runs on a combination of diesel and hydrogen fuel, is capable of reducing carbon emissions and enhancing fuel efficiency.
The project is part of Oman’s initiative to promote sustainable transport in the country, with a focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on fossil fuels. The truck’s hydrogen storage system was designed and installed by an Omani company, while the engine conversion kit was supplied by a German firm.
