Paris, France  — The future is in the making. Racing driver Olivier Lombard confirms the arrival in June 2021 of Hopium Māchina’s prototype, the first high-end zero-emission hydrogen powered sedan.

The European Commission presented today its proposal to set-up 10 new European Partnerships and invest nearly €10 billion for the green and digital transition.

The methanol fuel cell developer and manufacturer has taken over an 8,500 m2 production building on the Port of Aalborg, which has the capacity to commercialise Blue World Technologies’ methanol fuel cell technology.

• The AquaVentus initiative is growing: Hydrogenious LOHC Technologies, the energy company Avia, the LNG terminal operator German LNG Terminal GmbH, the port logistics company Cuxport and the commercial law firm Görg strengthen the development association.
• The hydrogen initiative now unites 32 internationally leading companies, organizations and research institutions – and the trend is rising.
• With combined know-how, the visionary goal of producing one million tons of green hydrogen per year on the high seas and transporting it on land is to be implemented.

H2 Green Steel (“H2GS”) will be a large-scale steel producer based on a fossil-free manufacturing process targeting large European OEMs.

H2GS will be located in the Boden-Luleå region in northern Sweden that offers unique conditions for fossil-free steel production.

• The company leads the cement industry in the use of hydrogen to reduce CO2 emissions.
• After a successful trial in Spain in 2019, all CEMEX cement plants in Europe are now using hydrogen as part of their fuel mix.
• Moving fast to deploy hydrogen technology throughout its global operations.
