Pure Hydrogen Leases a 4,000m² Site in Queensland for Its First Demonstration Hydrogen Micro-Hub
April 16, 2024 | 4 min read April 16, 2024 | 4 min read- 5-year lease signed on industrial site located at Archerfield Airport, Queensland, to develop the first green hydrogen demonstration micro-hub.
- Pure intends to manufacture green hydrogen fuel at Archerfield to service commercial transport operators and the aviation industry.
- First Green Hydrogen supply anticipated Q4 CY2024 subject to approvals. An electrolyser has already been ordered which will use ‘green’ electricity to produce green hydrogen.
- Archerfield will be developed in stages. Stage 1 is based on initially utilizing 1,000m² of the site with an anticipated output of 420Kg of green hydrogen fuel per day. Scale-up will occur in future stages based on growing demand.
- Securing the Archerfield site is consistent with Pure Hydrogen’s strategy of developing multiple ‘CAPEX light’ green hydrogen micro-hubs within close proximity to supply H2 to customers within reach. Archerfield will act as a template for future micro-hubs.
