Yesterday, the actor Rowan Atkinson graced the Goodwood Festival of Speed, an exhilarating annual event held on the picturesque grounds of the Goodwood Estate in England.

This year, Toyota showcased the first European-built version of the new GR Yaris that utilizes hydrogen as a fuel. This initiative is part of Toyota’s broader commitment to preserving the traditional sensory experiences of motorsport—such as sound and vibration—while implementing sustainable technologies.

Additionally, the festival featured other multi-technology themes, including support vehicles like the Hydrogen Fuel Cell Hilux Prototype. This prototype, developed by a Toyota-led consortium in the UK, investigates the use of fuel cell technology in light commercial vehicles. Also on display was the Corolla Commercial, a British-made model that integrates the efficiency of hybrid power into the van market, further demonstrating Toyota’s commitment to environmental sustainability in automotive design.
