On January 23, the Baetsen hydrogen-electric hybrid refuse collection vehicle was transported to test-center Lelystad. At Baetsen the vehicle was filled with big-bags filled with sand, to simulate the full load of the vehicle.

During a 3-day test and trial period at the designated and private RDW test track, the vehicle will endure a full vehicle and road testing cycle to receive the Dutch license plates.

After receiving the license plates, the last functional and operational tests will be performed by E-Trucks, before the actual demonstration phase will start in the Eindhoven region from March onwards.

The building of the Cure-truck is almost completed and will also shortly start the license plate procedure.
