Loughborough — One of the leading manufacturers of mobile and static temporary site cabins, AJC Trailers, has today launched a range of zero emission welfare units which it is exhibiting at the Executive Hire Show at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena. The units are powered by Intelligent Energy Fuel Cell Modules (FCMs).
The team at AJC Trailers have designed the new EcoSmart welfare cabin to house the 1kW FCM in a small storage area and have coupled it with an advanced solar power system which provides additional power on sunnier days.
With an increasing focus on reducing emissions in the construction industry, the launch of the EcoSmart welfare cabin is well-timed.
Lee Juby, Sales Director at Intelligent Energy welcomed the launch. He said: “Our FCMs are a viable power solution for the construction industry. They are quiet, so can provide power round the clock -even in urban areas, zero emission and offer lower life cycle costs and minimal maintenance when compared to traditional diesel generators.
