The green ammonia will be exported to support the decarbonization of the heavy-duty transport sector and reduce up to 5 million tons of CO2 per year. Air Products is the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor and system integrator, utilizing 4 GW of wind and solar energy and 2.2 GW electrolysis technology from thyssenkrupp nucera. Haldor Topsoe will provide technology for green ammonia production, Baker Hughes for hydrogen compression, and Air Products for air separation.
